I am an energetic, skilled and dedicated creative and business professional who can bring my wide experience, expertise and problem-solving abilities to any work environment. Although I have extensive and specialized experience in the film and DVD production industries, I continually strive to acquire new creative and technical skills and I quickly adapt to new situations. I understand the importance of teamwork and seek a position where I can fully contribute to the mutual benefit of myself, co-workers and my employer.

Work Experience

Managing Director, Production/DVD Producer/Theatrical Distribution (2001-Present)

Fever Dreams, LLC./Media Blasters, Inc., New York City

I developed and co-founded the theatrical distribution and feature film production divisions for the parent company. I serve as supervising producer for 4-6 DVD and blu-ray releases per month for several house labels. I also produce supplementary materials and supervise the receipt and acceptance of all HD and SD masters and delivery materials. Highlights: I planned the arthouse theatrical distribution for Asia Argento’s SCARLET DIVA and Takashi Miike’s ICH THE KILLER among many others. I produced the DVD/olu-ray releases of Chang Cheh’s FIVE ELEMENT NINJAS and Ishiro Honda’s DESTROY ALL MONSTERS. I produced anddistributed the features FLESH FOR THE BEAST, SHADOW: DEAD RIOT, WICKED LAKE, LATE FEE (co-writier and co-director), SHINOBI GIRL (series writer) and SHINOBI GIRL (series writer) and FLESH FOR THE BEAST: TSUKIKO'S CURSE (series director and writer).

I served as sales and marketing for the new East Coast branch of the Burbank, CA based entertainment payroll service. I solicited film and commercial producers and represented the company at film markets and trade show events. My clients included Paramount Pictures, MGM, 20th Century Fox and many independent studios.

President (1993 - 1997)

Morano Movies, North Bergen, NJ

I served as a sales and marketing agent for several independent feature film producers and distributors, representing films and film libraries at major international film markets and trade show events. My clients included Redemption Films U.K., Surf Films Italy, veteran producer Harry Novak and action star Sammo Hung of Hong Kong and character actor Aldo Sanbrell of Spain. Crewed on various independent productions- features, commercials, short films and music videos.

Director of International Sales & Distribution (1987 - 1993)

Troma Entertainment, New York City

I served as the VP of Theatrical Distribution director, international sales representative and feature film production and post-production supervisor for Troma’s vast film library. I negotiated and drafted deal memos and long form contracts for acquisitions and represented the Troma library at international film markets, including the Cannes Festival, and trade show events. Highlights: I distributed Hayao Miyazaki’s first U.S. theatrical release, MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO via Troma’s 50th Street Films. Also, THE TOXIC AVENGER II & III, CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH I, II & III and TROMA’S WAR among many others.
